As student's it's hard to get everything we WANT to do to fit in with all the things we NEED to do. Lost are the things we SHOULD do. It is silly to think a successful student should live without a routine.

Ben Franklin lived an extremely busy lifestyle and kept a daily schedule. But if you look at his schedule, you see that he had only six blocks of time scheduled each day:
- Morning for getting ready for his day (shower and breakfast, personal study, and prepare for work) Note his morning question.
- Late morning for work
- Noon for review of current projects and to eat lunch
- Afternoon hours for work
- Evening hours for dinner and rest and wrapping up the day. Again, note his evening question.
- Night hours for sleeping (you need more than Franklin's seven hours).
I don't expect anyone to get up 3 hours before school ( I'm up at 5:30 for my 8:00 class) but it's worth saying that you have decided to take an AP class; you're wasting your time in our class if you don't take steps to make this very demanding class worthwhile.
Carve out time for your readings, assignments and just thinking about the content (not at the same time). Make SURE you get enough sleep each day; it's how your brain organizes and stores the stuff you learned during the day.
Limit your time on social media- it's a wasteful distraction. Do spend time enjoying your relationships with family and friends.
